Why it matters
Getting the basics right saves time and money later. We’ll shape a plan that helps you get found, trusted, and booked - not just a pretty website.

What to prepare (helpful, not mandatory)
it's always useful to know what to expect and if you want to then you have a chance to prepare ahead of our call. Might be you want the guidance and that is okay too.
Note: Every package already includes some elements. e.g. I always check on industry/product & service areas and customer/competitor analysis so I have that overview. Also a bit of a peep at any existing websites or online presence.
Important to note that the package includes branding, colour palette, content, and images/media as standard. If you already have a logo, I’ll build the colour palette and feel from it.
Service Areas (Geographical)
Towns, postcodes, or regions you cover. Might be it's simply a part of a city or you aren't quite sure yet.
What You Offer
Your main services/products and possible future aspirations or phases e.g. you don't currently offer training but would like to bolt this on at some point.
Customers: Who You Want More of
Might be you are starting out so need a bit of guidance about who your ideal customer might be. Possibly you have been trading a while and know who brings in the most benefit and it's this kind of customer you want more of. Not the time wasters.
Competitors: Both Online and Offline
Offline - there are only so many local customers so it's useful to know who will be competing with you in your area.
Online - that's a slightly different slant and we need to look at who is featuring first locally. The two elements may not be the same companies.

Five Steps To Your New Website....

Step 1
BOOK
Pick a time that works for you (normally Monday–Friday during office hours).
Step 2
PREP
Gather a few useful details — your main services, the areas you work in, and any example websites you like. If you haven’t thought about it yet, don’t worry. I’ll guide you through.
Step 3
MEET
We’ll spend around 45 minutes on Zoom (or phone if you prefer). Sometimes we’ll run a bit longer if there’s plenty to cover. This is your time to ask questions and share your ideas.
Step 4
PLAN
Together we’ll shape the right package. If it’s a straightforward build, we can agree there and then. For more complex projects, I’ll take the details and send you a tailored quote.
Step 5
GO
Your new website build begins - with branding, colour palette, content, and media included as standard. If you already have a logo, I’ll use that as the inspiration for your colours and style.
Got questions? Quick answers
Here are the three we’re asked most.
No - that’s what the Discovery Call is for. If you’ve got a logo, service list, or ideas, great. If not, I’ll guide you through the basics like customers, areas, and competitors.
Yes. There’s no cost and no obligation. It’s a chance for you to see how I work and for me to understand your business. - And to ask any important questions before you commit
Anything from a day to several weeks once we agree the plan (depends on the size of the build and complexity). If you need something fast, I can prioritise a quick-build option - within a week for smaller sites and two for bigger.

Plus, with voice assistants like Alexa or Siri, you can even ask them to read the TL;DR out loud - so you get the key info hands-free, anytime.

Booking FAQs
What’s included in your website packages?
Every package includes branding, colour palette, content, and images as standard. If you already have a logo, I’ll use it as the base for your design.
Do you only work with trades in Hull?
Most of my work is for trades and small businesses in Hull and nearby areas, but I can work with clients further afield too.
Can I update the website myself once it’s live?
Yes - you’ll get simple access so you can update text, images, or prices without needing me each time.
How much does a typical website cost?
It depends on scope, but most trades sites sit in a clear, affordable range. We’ll discuss budget on the Discovery Call so there are no surprises. In the meantime ➡️ check out our package comparison here.
What if I just need something quick?
I can build a website-in-a-day or a fast-track site if you’re in a rush. The Discovery Call is where we decide what’s realistic for your timescale.
